On Saturday, we had our nephew Colton's second birthday party! I still cant believe our little man is 2. He is such a cool and hip little man! Happy Birthday Colton and we love you:)

We got Colton a Basketball Hoop - with the height in the family, the odds are that he will be dunking soon:)

Jason's 30th Party

Here are some pictures from Jason's 30th birthday party! I am so proud of myself for not telling him - I am not very good at keeping fun things like this a surprise. We are so blessed to have such a great family and great group of friends to celebrate milestones like turning 30. Thank you to everyone that came out to join us in the celebration!!! It was a great night!!

Thanksgiving with the Lions

Jason and I decided to go see the Lions this year instead of stuff our faces full of turkey. But then after watching the Lions play, I think turkeys could have played better!! Regardless of the score, we had a great time!! We also checked out the Detroiter, Hockeytown, Greektown, and the Casino! It was a fun way to spend Thanksgiving:)

Archie, Riley and first fur cut

I had the excitement of watching Jeff & Joani's puppy while they were on their honeymoon. Riley is a Schnoodle and is a month older than Archie. By the final days together, I had both of them sleeping next to me, taking naps together, and playing around the house together. It was a lot of fun!

Archie had his first grooming experience and he looks so different. He is just adorable!

From 5, to 6, to 7

This year has been a huge year for my family. In the beginning of May, my family was five members. On May 17 Jason joined our clan and now we are blessed with the addition of Joani this past weekend. With each new member, our family feels more and more complete.

Jeff and Joani's weddding was absolutely beautiful. Joani was stunning, Jeff was beaming with love for his bride, the weather could not have been more lovely, and the bridal party....well...we rocked too:) Jason and I both were honored to be part of this wedding and I still cant believe its over. Jeff and Joani got married at Overisel Reformed Church and the reception was at Frederick Meijer Gardens. It truly was a fairy tale wedding.

One of my favorite parts of the day was my youngest brothers, best man speech. Seriously Tim - well done!! Note our expressions!!

I did not get the chance to take many pictures, so I borrowed a few from Ashley (who once again did an amazing job with the pictures). As I get some sent to me, I will add them to the blog!!

Jeff and Joani - Congratulations and we love you so much!!! We are thrilled for your life together and we know that this is just the beginning of an amazing love.
